Agreement
By downloading or using drivrmaps (the "App"), published by Joyride Software LLC ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
What drivrmaps is
drivrmaps is a catalog of driving roads with data-derived characteristics — corner counts, turning radii, surface estimates, and similar metrics — plus route-planning conveniences. It is a reference and discovery tool, not a navigation system and not a substitute for your own judgment behind the wheel.
Drive safely and legally
You are solely responsible for how you drive. Always obey speed limits, traffic laws, and posted signage; drive within your abilities and adjust for weather, traffic, visibility, and road conditions. Cornering-speed figures, character ratings, and similar metrics in the App are computed estimates provided for general information only — they are not recommendations to drive at any particular speed, and they must never be treated as an assurance that a road, corner, or maneuver is safe. Never interact with the App while driving.
Road data and accuracy
Road data is derived automatically from OpenStreetMap and related sources. Roads change: surfaces degrade, routes close, limits change, and data may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. We make no warranty that any information in the App is accurate, current, or fit for any purpose. Weather information, where shown, is informational only and is never a statement that a road is safe to drive.
Your license to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or extract the App's data catalogs except as permitted by law.
Intellectual property and attribution
The App, its design, and its curated content are © Joyride Software LLC. Road geometry and attributes are derived from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map display is provided by Apple Maps; weather by Apple WeatherKit.
drivrmaps Pro subscriptions
Browsing the road catalog is free. Planning a drive, generating one with Joyride Engine, and driving with Route and Drivr Mode require drivrmaps Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple as an annual or a monthly plan. The price and any free trial are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, or at the end of a free trial if one applies. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings; canceling during a free trial ends the trial without charge. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Feedback and ratings
If you send feedback or road ratings, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them to operate and improve the App. Don't include information you consider confidential.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOYRIDE SOFTWARE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ITS DATA, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS. YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE APP IS TO STOP USING IT.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms, the App, or the catalog at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time.
